This 43 site campground is on the edge of the city of Avalon on Catalina Island |

This state park has 135 campsites and plenty of nearby beachfront and hiking. |

The year-round campground has 63 sites with picnic tables, fire rings, flush toilets, coin showers, and a dump station. |

Buckhorn Campground is an hour drive up the Angeles Crest Highway from LA and a great weekend spot for summer tent camping. |
